Eileen Lai Horng, friend of the bride
Eileen lived two doors down from Cari during their freshman year at Stanford.
The two of them became instant friends, spending many hours together at the
Haas Center for Public Service at Stanford (coincidentally, both eventually
worked at the Haas Center after they graduated). Eileen is married to George
Horng, and is currently working on a PhD in Education at UCLA.

Alice Poon, friend of the bride
Alice also lived in Cardenal with Eileen and Cari during their freshman year,
and the three of them soon forged a friendship that continues to tie them
together no matter where their life paths have taken them. Following an
exciting international business career in Hong Kong and London, Alice is
currently living in San Francisco and working on her MBA at UC-Berkeley.

Linzi Hong Lee, friend of the bride
Linzi and Cari grew up taking tennis lessons and attending Punahou School
together. Linzi and Cari's friendship reflects a longstanding relationship
between the Hong family and Pang family that traces back to the old
double-dating days of Popo Moile Hong and Popo Minnie Pang. Linzi is
married to Randy Lee, and currently works in Private Equity at Thomas
Weisel Partners in San Francisco.

Monica Pang, sister of the bride
Monica is Cari's oldest sister, who was kind enough to let Cari tag along
with her in Monica's high school years. A former jet-setting consultant
for IBM, Monica currently lives in Phoenix, where she is busy raising her
twin children, Hannah and Andrew, and settling Pac-10 rivalries whenever
Cari & Erik are watching sports with Monica's husband, Rick Szoke.

Lori Pang Yee, sister of the bride
Lori is Cari's older sister and the one Pang sister who remains in Hawai`i.
Although Lori and Cari have often picked on one another for a variety of
things, including attending rival high schools and colleges, they've
managed to put family first over football. Lori is married to Clinton
Yee, and currently works for the State of Hawai`i as a Physical
Therapist.

Edward Chen, brother of the groom
Edward is Erik's older brother by five years. He currently lives in
Maryland with his wife, Jane, and their two young children, Madeleine
and Christopher. Edward is a doctor of pulmonary and critical care
medicine, and works at Johns Hopkins University Medical Center.

Eylon Stroh, friend of the groom
Eylon was Erik's roommate during their freshman and sophomore years at
Stanford University. Eylon is currently finishing his PhD at Stanford
University, and lives in San Carlos. Eylon spends whatever free time
he has with his music, or playing spades, or rooting for the Tampa Bay
Bucs to reach the superbowl.

Kausik Rajgopal, friend of the groom
Kausik lived two doors down in the same all-freshman dorm with Erik
and Eylon. The three have been good friends ever since, and enjoy playing
spades whenever possible. Kausik graduated from the Stanford Graduate
School of Business in Summer 2001, and currently works for McKinsey & Co.
in San Francisco.

Eric McLaughlin, friend of the groom
Eric is Erik's childhood friend from Tenafly, NJ for the past 23 years.
The two friends remained close throughout college, and were reunited when
Eric moved to the San Francisco Bay Area after he graduated from Tulane
Law School. Eric is currently a lawyer in Walnut Creek, and lives in San
Francisco.

John Angwin, friend of the groom
John lived in Cardenal with Cari, Erik, Eileen, Alice, Eylon, and Kausik.
He was Erik's roommate for one summer during their undergraduate year, and
one year during graduate school. He was one of Cari & Erik's three
housemates since they all graduated in Summer 1998. John is currently
a Solutions Architect for Reactivity. An avid bodybuilder, John
acquired the nickname 'steak' from his friends.

Marisa Kwock, cousin of the bride
Marisa is the older daughter of Cari's cousin, Donna Kwock. She is a
student at Punahou School and will begin her Freshman year in Fall 2002.

Megan is the younger daughter of Cari's cousin, Donna Kwock. She is a
student at Punahou School and will begin the 4th Grade in Fall 2002.

Madeleine Chen, niece of the groom
Madeleine is Erik's niece, and the daughter of Best Man Edward Chen and
his wife, Jane. She will celebrate her third birthday the day before Cari &
Erik's wedding. Madeleine spent time with the Columbia gymnastics squad and
is preparing for the Olympics in 2016.

Hannah Szoke, niece of the bride
Hannah is Cari's niece and goddaughter, and the daughter of Bridesmaid
Monica Pang and her husband, Rick Szoke. She will celebrate her second
birthday with her twin brother Andrew in October 2002. Hannah plans to use
money from her supermodeling career to pay for her Medical School expenses,
and plans to complete her MD at Stanford University in 2027.

Andrew Szoke, nephew of the bride
Andrew is Cari's nephew, and the son of Bridesmaid Monica Pang and her
husband, Rick Szoke. He will celebrate his second birthday with his twin
sister Hannah in October 2002. When he's not performing and entertaining
with the World Wrestling Federation, Andrew plans to complete his PhD in
Social Psychology at Stanford University in 2027.

Christopher Chen, nephew of the groom
Christopher is Erik's nephew, and the son of Best Man Edward Chen and his
wife, Jane. He becomes 1-year-old in February 2002 and plans on becoming
the starting fullback for the New York Giants in 2025.
